Anoyne for Piking in TO on Friday, Feb 27th,09?

Was thinking of heading out after rush hour maybe 10 am or so. Humber Bay/Ashbridges. Anywhere along the Toronto waterfront.

Well...did you make it out on Friday?? and if so where and what was it like??

Didn't make it out. Was raining to hard here in Ajax in the am. Waited for it to subside but it really never did. On and off. Talked to people in the city and they said that it was quite nice blue sky at certain times but rain held off for the most part. wind was variable, strong at times then none at all. No huge downpour like predicted.

In hindsight, I kind of wish I went. Dammit. Will be getting out sometime this week. hopefully Thursday or Friday.

I don't mind the cold, it doesn't bother me. What I don't like is when it rains and it's cold. Just checked the weather report, looks like rain on Friday again and anywhere form 5-7 degrees.

I do weekends also. Might try Sunday as I am busy on Saturday. But not 100% sure yet.

I am definately getting out tomorrow if anyone is interested.

Dirk, I can't make it this week at all. Keep in touch next week to see whether if you could make it one day.

Next week looks pretty good right now, with a warm week all the way until thursday, and then warming up for the next weekend again.
Hopefully the meteorologists are right this time.

I hope the weather "Gurus" are correct. After last week I wouldn't bet on it. I'll keep you posted and let you know how I make out today.
