Hey fellow OFF members!
As most frequent OFF members who read my posts, they will know I post a lot about Rice Lake. On Tuesday July 30th I went to visit my girlfriend and her family on Rice Lake at their family owned resort Southview Cottages. I rented out one of their 16 ft Legend boats equipped with a 60 HP 4 - Stroke Mercury Motor, Humming Bird Fish Finder, Minn Kota Trolling Motor. With this fully equipped boat at approximately 6:50 pm, we went out to one of my favor fishing spots and between the 6 crappie caught, I managed one beautiful smallmouth bass! I took one with my girlfriend holding the bass to help out with justifying the size. Not a monster but I make a lot of nice sized bass look really small aha. It weighed in at 2 lbs and 9 ounces and 19 inches.
