Thanks guys, they are def one of natures gems. When in full spawning dress they are up there with brookies and char imo, the fight is next level sh*t. Believe me or not Ive had them pry open trebles and stretch split rings just from headshakes... Pure power. When you hook into a double digit slob you will know quickly like this one caught in local SG waters

This is my largest landed to date, 7.3 lbs on a boga grip.

Nice catch. Second a peacock what's the first one also a peacock? Looks like a cross.
There are a few species in the "peacock bass" family tree, here in Singapore they have the Temensis Peacocks biggest of the clan and the more famous Butterfly Peacocks that everyone knows by now as they were stocked into Floridas local freshwater. There are times though when the two match up and thus hybrids are born, the first one is a hybrid :)

Stay tuned, ill keep this updated as my trip goes

With the average temp down here hovering around 30-40 deg c and humidity like no where else, most days ill only have motivation to venture out during first light and for the evenings. Coincidentally this is also when the fish like to feed in frenzy's.

Few from yesterdays feeding frenzy,
