G-Loomis Rods worth the money??

Just a genaral question for anyone who uses or has tried there rods....are they really worth the money? I have read many mixed reviews on there rods..

I have held a few and I have a baitcasting rod, it is really nice, very light, and seems durable. You should probably hold one and see what you personally think, were you thinking of a fly rod or regular?

EDIT: The cork is pretty sweet too

100% yes, I have a loomis NRX fly rod, it is incredible, light, powerful. and a dream to fight fish on

To be honest, I used to use a couple of them because they were given to me. The frog and pitching rods. I love Shimano products and let me tell ya, I wouldnt spend the 250 bucks on a GL2. The NRX are amazing obviously for the price but you wouldnt catch me forking up that money for a GL2. The older ones made prior to the ownership of Shimano were better.

I just checked Fenwick and see that on Sept 5th 2014 the new elite tech river runner will be released I think I will wait for that rod ( being I own 3 other Fenwicks already ).

i have the fen wick aetos, awesome rod, fenwick rods are top notch, as for g-loomis rods..... well I'm not that crazy lol
