Today morning i was fishing with my friend on Rouge River At Glen Rouge Park for steelhead. It was my amazing day.first steelhead catch of this year.We were there around 7am.We just went to check out water condition. It was nice weather.Water was clear but could not see any fish moving. We had no intention to catch but we threw our line in just to try.We were using fresh salmon egg(from last year).I was using raven 13ft float rod.Man they were biting crazy.Could not see the fish but they were there.Broke my line 2 times because of inexperience.3rd time managed to land it.Steelhead was fighting hard.I did not had my waders on but still decided to jump in water.Got wet but got the fish. After the catch we just left happy from there. It was good size steelhead we caught,Unfortunately i forgot my cell phone home so could not get pic of place i caught the fish. When we reached home i got my cell phone and took 2 pic.The fish was still alive when we reached home.Plus full of eggs. When my friend was holding the fish for pic the eggs started coming out.So we quickly took pic and put back the fish flat.If you wana see place pic look at my previous Apr 2 report. If i go again their tomorrow i will get the pic.In the mean time.Enjoy pic below.

Just before Kingston bridge.I will get you actual pic when i will go there.i wish i had my cell phone today.Right now we can fish up to Kingston bridge only. The 401 bridge u see in pic also has good spot.Water is deep there. My friend caught brown trout from there. But from Sat, there is no restriction. There is great spots more ahead of Kingston bridge.i will be going there for sure when season opens.
