I'd like to make my own glow spoons and I came up with an idea to just dip the whole spoon to make it glow. Is this a good idea? I only see spoons with at least 1 side painted or just a small spot on the spoon and this seems like a waste.

What do you think the action would look like if the whole spoon was painted?

Also, is it legal to tie a glow stick to the end of your treble hook on your spoons?

it would work, but why do it? all the fish is going to see is a glow ball, instead of a flashing contrast, which is the principle of using a spoon.

I would think tying a glow stick to your spoon would be illegal, since it'd be the equivalent of fishing with a light

I figured a huge glowing ball would attract them haha
With some spoons they have a wobble effect to them so I don't think it would neccessarily look like a huge glowing ball. Have to test this though.

Are people out night fishing the piers in oakville yet? I want to go down and check it out. Maybe get a good photo of the mayhem
