So anytime I'm wading Etobicoke Creek or Sixteen Mile Creek I find golf balls since there are 2 golf courses nearby upstream on both creeks.

I also like golfing so I tend to pick them up. At least if I'm getting skunked that day I have a little fun finding golf balls. Maybe it's the kid in me that finds it fun but I'm a terrible golfer so I always need to replenish my supplies after a round of golf.

Who else likes picking them up?

This weekend I picked up over 100 on Sixteen Mile. Water level was crazy low and so tonnes were exposed on the shore. I wonder how many months or years some of them have been there. Anyway, washed my hands and my balls real good afterwards :smile:/>

Always good to wash your hands and your balls real good. I think women appreciate it........lol.

I know what you mean tho, seems every river/stream is surrounded by some golf course. What's with that? I'm no golfer or a fan of it, but dam there are a lot of balls in the water. Or are they from bad golfers?.......lol. I don't know, when the weather gets warmer I'll be there with a mesh bag, grabber and picking these up too. They are all over the rivers.

Dude, 100 golf balls!!!!!!!
Thats amazing, you should start a buisness.... USED BALLS FOR LESS

For God's sake folks, it's OK to name a freekin' river.

The idea is not to say, "Hey I just caught 5 chromers in the Moira River, can't believe how few people go there!" or "The salmon run is on fire right now at Bronte."

Not that it always creates a problem to report like that, the rule is just a precautionary measure to avoid divulging sensitive information to the masses. It is what it is, but I don't think we need to blow it way out of proportion.

Agreed... Plus he said he got skunked, and said the water levels are low, so i don't see why people would be flocking there.
