Hi guys, hope ive got this in the right section of the forum. I've been scoping out lakes and ponds near me on google maps looking for new places to catch fish.
I am Primarily a bass fisherman.
I found a lake that is 1.5 hours away from me called bass lake. just north of Nogies creek / Bobcaygeon.
my question is; has anyone here ever fished this lake? is it worth the hour and a half drive? any advice is greatly appreciated. cheers!
Hope this isnt a stupid question, as its called bass lake, but what I'm really looking for is lakes with less fishing pressure than the kawarthas which is where i am used to fishing.

Can't give you any advice other than this: Check the regulations, and your location, very carefully, Nogies Creek from Bass Lake to the Nogies Creek Dam is a fish sanctuary year-round. And I have no idea where that dam is. Tried finding it on Google but no luck.
