I'm set. Spent the best part of 5 hours less dinner and parts of the leaf game tying up for my trip. Think 200 bags will last me sun up to sun down Saturday and Sunday? I hope so.

This weekend is like Christmas to me as a child. I can't sleep, and all giddy, excited.

I truly wish the best of luck and enjoyment to everyone (less the illegal and unethical practices used)

I am off to the river for one last go at the local stomping grounds in the morning, before we head out at noon drive north and scout the water.

Again, best of luck guys. Can't wait to hear everyone's stories and adventures.

Cheers! GT.

Good luck to you too dude! I'm bracing myself for the skunk on laker opener so I'm counting on you steelheaders to tide me by with some pics and reports...don't let me down boys haha

Brookies will be had. Yes they will. Good luck boys. Tock out with yo cack out lol

I'm all worms for opener. Everyone chucks roe, you find a "slow" pool and throw a worm and you're gold.

(I tie a few bags tho)

I've also tied my first run of wooly buggers/egg sucking leeches. Hope they produce at least 1.

No better feeling than fooling a fish (*smart fish) with a presentation you have 100% created yourself. Can't wait....

Good luck errboddy.

I got 4 this morning 2 fresh 2 dropbackcity. Not a sole out there! Unreal! Had all the banks to myself. 1 of the chrome was a shaker jumped honestly 4 feet three times. STOKED!

That's a good start. all rigged up. I'm bringing 2 rods. 6'6" casting glow hardwares before sun up. then will change as it gets brighter. My wife will be surprise when she wakes up and the kitchen sink is missing. Good luck guys.

Well said goodentight. Good luck to you too.
A friend of mine is picking me up at 4.30 for the 20 minute drive to a western trib. I know for a fact that I will be up and showered and pretty much coffeed out before he even gets here.
Reels have been taken apart cleaned and lubed since Monday, new line went on Tuesday. The rig I plan to start with is already in place as I will be too "giddy" to tie knots in the morning  all that coffee. My back-pack rods and reels have been sitting beside my front door since Tuesday. All I have to do in the morning is transfer a few cans from my fridge to my back-pack.
The weather looks great unfortunately, everyone and their Mothers will be out.
Good luck to all fellow OFF'ers too.

Alfie.
