My cousin is looking to buy new reel/rod.I think this is good package.I have 1 guy at work talking great about ugly stick.I have never used it.Are they good.
Do u recommend buy this or it is crap.

Ugly sticks are great rods, thats all i use for the most part. Tons of action and they can bend from tip of the rod to tip of the rod handle without breaking. At the sportsmanshow a guy was demonstrating. I havent bent my that far cause im not a rep who has 1000's more rods sitting behind him in case. But exceptional rods none the less.

A great starter package for sure....down the road upgrade to a better reel, but the ugly stick will di ya for years on end!!! Great Value!

Ugly sticks r awesome rods, I accidentally broke 1" of the end of mine by closing the hatch on it. Its my brand new one too but I think I can fix it try not to get the corkish end one but the plastic end if you know what I mean.

They are amazing rods if you take care of them no prblems with any f myne.
My dad gave me his that soooooo old, I guess my mom gave it to him for an anniversary present before they got a devorce and I was really really young then.
The olnly thing thats wrong with it is the shillack finish is peeling off but the rod is as strong as ever, I use it for mudcat fishing and always have it rigged in my truck with a slip rig,lol If someone ever broke into my car I would be screwed if they were a fisherman,lol. Dont try it,lol I keep a starving pitbull in they're beside my tackle.(no pitbulls were harmed in the truck of my car)!lol
