So...

I am just wondering what type of hobby(s) you people have? Other than fishing obviously.

I personally HAD few hobbies but just couldn't spend much time/money and it kinda faded away~(almost)

I used to enjoy playing with Radio Controlled Car/Truck (Nitro Gas Powered Monster Truck).
(here is just some random RC video I picked)

I used to enjoy riding bicycle on trails (novice level), I still like riding bike itself, just no long distance.
From very top of Toronto to very bottom of Toronto via Yonge St. used to be fun. Fighting to traffic :) It used to be fairly easy back few years ago but now... I need to get rid of my belly fat and do more work out as my legs got too used to sitting in a car pressing pedals.
I just love the feeling of being open and riding something. Maybe I should get a motorcycle? Too dangerous!

Now I am trying to get more into Geocaching these days.
With my Bicycle or just a hike. Enjoy the outdoors.

(What is Geocaching?)

What about you?

For me, other then fishing I guess it would be computers and :) posting on Ontario Fishing Forums :)

Computers? Own a computer shop? Like to upgrade to latest hardware(s) ? Overclocking?

(I haven't upgraded my PC in long time but what I got now is... AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (2.0GHz) Socket 939 overclocked to 2.8GHz. Running since like 2 years? or so, can't remember. I plan to move back to Intel... i just can't resist overclocking because I know I'll upgrade before hardware die from overclocking).

Overclocking no no no thats bad for the CPU!

I'm a really simple.. home person.. so .. um.. I play vidoe games all day long...

I use to play games all day as well...I wasted alot of time. Now I walk alot...I also enjoy camping. We try and go acouple of times a year. I also watch alot of movies.

My problem is so many hobbies and so little time. Besides fishing, I enjoy wood working, Astronomy, skiing, biking, golf, computers, etc. If I didn't have a job, I would have a better chance to do them all.

My next goal is to reach for 4GHz*(near 4GHz) and go for 50% clock boost. Minimum of 4GB Ram.
What do I need 4GHz for? It's all about e-penis.

Up until a few years ago;I used to deal in sports memorabilia..hockey mainly, then onto the rest. Kinda like a "sports" paparatzi..was pretty good at it too, not too many big names in sports I havent met..few big ones outside of sports too. Running out of the sports guys, ventured into music and movies. Those were a little harder concidering where we are :) Still have most of my collection all boxed up...for the grandkids I guess. :)

.....Mikey if I ever get around to buying a new computer..Im giving you a call! All "greek" to me. lol

4Ghz? what chip are you planning to use? I don't think socket 939/AM2/AM2+ architecture would go that high unless you have really good supporting mb/hardware. I went to 2.9ghz with the AMD 939 X2 3800 liquid cooled.

My AMD was with aircooled.

And obcourse... AMD is no competition against Intel. I plan to use Intel platform. Plan to use E7200 CPU and hope to go near 4GHz and than upgrade to QuadCore later in the year when Socket 775 will be replaced for good.

Cool, AMD is pretty good and was ahead of intel for a while with their DC ,& built in mem cntrl. I don't follow it much anymore but just to give you and idea of what I do, last Sun Sparc box I worked on had 32 cpus actually the app it was running was clustered with another 32 cpu box so 64cpus in total don't know how many MIPS:) Too bad we can't play games on this stuff.......

Nope never gone alone...I generally go with 2 main friends, then often times more people, but most often either me and mike, or me and dave...my wife aint into it. But we like to go to algonguin...or temmagamy, or anywhere inbetween. I once camped outside of Kearney...thats my name. lol...I rolled a jeep there!
