Grand River - Caledonia

Fished the grand river today with my buddy, we caught 5 or six smallies and one largie, bass were relatively small but one decent 3.5 pounder, also landed one pike good size. But the biggest of the day was this big old carp!

Very nice, looks like you are above the dam there. Try worms under a float for steelhead now, youll need to wade but its well worth it!

That is a big ole Carp. The Bass and Pike are nice too. I'm a regular to that area and there are a lot of nice fish to be had in the Grand.
I have yet to land my first Grand Chrome though. I'm hoping this year.

I totally agree. Grab bag. Chrome, Browns, Smallies, Largies, Pike, Walleye, Channel Cats, Bullhead, Carp, Gar, Bowfin, Sucker, Sheephead, Perch, Rock Bass, Sunfish. Sorry if I left anyone out

wow nice big carp and some other fishes to boot thanks for posting and sharing .i have only tried the grand near caledonia once myself i didn't get anything but saw a couple of nice chromers had by some other anglers on the large size as well.
