Grand River Cats

Planning a trip to the Grand River Wed. night, anyone know if the channel kitties have started moving in from the lake.

I have a feeling I might be a bit early.

You may be a bit early for the ones from the lake, I tend to think late Apr. early May, but there is tons of resident Cats all the way up from Dunnville to Caledonia and beyond. Up to 10 lbs.
Fish a live minnow, you may even hook something Chrome colored, of course that would be C & R at this time of year.

Thanks for the heads up, a buddy said a couple of big ones were caught just after ice out. We are going ahead as planned, between work and family, fishing has hit the back burner, so when I can go...I go, catching mind you is just a bonus!
