I'm in and around the KW area, whats the best type of fish around this area to target? (perhaps grand river?) I don't have a boat but up for a bit of an adventure. any tips or general areas that might be decent for any good fishing this time of year?

Not to familiar with up that far but but there should be some browns around I believe they stock conastoga area. I think there's crappie around Kitchener also. Everything else is closed I believe. Not sure about catts n carp up that way.

River is blown right now.. I know it very well around the Cambridge area for Bass and Pike once they open.
