A few years ago a member in here turned me on to Halliburton forest for camping. It's a nice quiet getaway and I quite enjoy it up there.
I haven't had too much luck with the fishing though. I've caught a ton of rock bass but only a few little smallmouth. I haven't really gone for trout while there.
Does anyone have any tips on which lakes to fish and which species to target? So far I have been limited to McDonald and wolf lake. I plan to do a bit more exploring this year with the canoe though.
