Yesterday I was on Kijiji browsing for something or other. I've always wanted a canoe, and occasionally I do a search for them. I decided to try my luck yesterday.

The very first posting is a canoe for $180. Says it's aluminum, tip-free, and comes with paddles and seats and roof rack. I call the guy and he says he already has 2 people coming to see it the next day. I tell him I'm on my way. Turns out to be everything I was looking for in a canoe. The brand is Sportspal.

The ad was only on Kijiji for 10 minutes. Giddy up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is more than a happy story! :D
Insane deal!
It doesn't get any better than a sportspal when it comes to a fishing canoe.
How long is it? Square-back model?

I remember the day I picked up mine 8)

Well I took my new love on our honeymoon tonight.

We enjoyed a beautiful sunset on a private lake. She held me snug as I hooked and landed a nice pike on my third cast :)

I wish I had met her sooner - we would have enjoyed spending time together in the summer! Oh well, next summer will come soon enough.

She's 14', not square-back unfortunately, does that mean no possibility of ever attaching a motor? I know absolutely nothing about boats and motors.
