If you can look past the stench, the litter, the elitists, the know-it-alls, and best of all locate some spots off the beaten track - trib fishing can be fishing at its finest.

Don't give it up entirely - spend some time scouting new spots and before next year's opener - I hope you find your own gem(s) to fish.
