thought id bring this thread back to life! lets see some fish!! I had a tough day today lost 6 pike one or two mayyyy have been eyes lol but managed to get this pike on a UL setup with a maggot targeting blue gill!

Hit the lake on tues. i think i was set up near redneck and rusty. really slow day of marking. bet i only had 6 or 7 chasers. still managed to hook and land 2 decent fish pushing 10, only due to their big shoulders and girth

Well I took a bit of a detour on my way back from my brothers today to get in a couple hours on the deep water, with no hut and high winds on the lake it was brutal but landed a nice 5 pound natural a little while after I got there.

After a while on my lawn chair I was getting so cold I really wanted to head home then the bit got hot.

Out of nowhere I got a huge hit, just showed up as an almost invisible blip on the sonar but I gave it hell and reeled for the surface. Fish went vertical and boom rod was bent right over.

After three hard runs for the bottom I knew it was a good fish but when I finally got it on the ice I was still surprised.

It took the bait rather deep but not in the gills and was bleeding a bit but it was released asap and I really hope It survived. Came in at over 15 pounds on the scale.

i was looking for your sled rusty. we took my buddies truck cuz the roads were bad and he didnt want to drive out. i fished all around you guys. riv55 i dont really look for clips unless im considering a bonk! wentback today and was deader than dead. w
