Hardy and Loop

Hi all!

I am on the market for a new 5wt.

So far i am looking at Loop Opti or Hardy Zenith.

I have been trying to find a store that would carry those rods as I want to "try" them before. So far I was out of luck. Anybody would have an idea of a store that would have them?

have you tried Wilsons?

Last time i went (fall) i was looking for loop rods and Wilsons didn't have.
I also checked SAIL, Natural Sport and First Cast.

Most of them have the Zenith, but I would really like to check out a Loop rod. Have a friend back in Europe that loves it more than anything else.

Cool, that's one SAIL i never went too because a bit far (Mississauga). Now I have a good excuse to do the drive

Most of the time I go SAIL Etobicoke. Also went to the one in Vaughan (which had one Loop Booster 6wt). And also checked the new one in Cambridge.

Why not email the manufactures and ask for the local dealers? Most manufacture web sites usually have a list or away to check for your local dealers.

Was at Sail Cambridge today. Was playing with some Orvis rods and they had a few Loop rods.

Yeah talking to a store that is a loop dealer but don't always carry in stock the rods (can't have it all ). So the store would gladly get one but it also has a restocking fee if i don't like it.

yea, thats a bit of a drive! also check out Grindstone Anglers in Hamilton and also Angling Specialties (HW 7 and 400) map
