picking one up tomorrow toput on my new rod--anyone know anything about them, used one? just before i buy as i have a few other options...thanks for your input guys

What rod are you putting that on? That's a big reel. I have it on my 7wt spey rod and love it. I have the 5000,, 6000 and 7000...lov' em.

Great reel for the money. I have mine on my 7wt switch rod and have taken several steelies with it last fall. Enjoy.
