Hi, and welcome to the forum!

Is this what you're talking about?

If so, it looks really effective! I can't say for sure as I've never tried, but I wouldn't mind giving it a go.
I'm not sure how many fish feed off of baby snakes in our neck of the woods, but I'm assuming this lure would be really awesome down south where there are more snakes due to the warmer climate. We have a few species of aquatic snakes here, but they aren't really common... you see them once in a while though. I'm guessing they don't make a big portion of their diet and they may end up being more intrigued by this weird thing on the surface of teh water instead of slamming it like in the video haha.

Welcome to the forum!

Are you referring to this?

You're the one who lives right next to it :D Maybe you should try it out there give us what's out there :D Something gotta be in there, right ? :D

How durable is this snake bait ?

I would love to use it on pike when they are in shallows but I think they'll just tear it up in one bite, no ? Damn it... another fishermen catching bait.

well i might have toi try it as soon as thew weather warms up a bit. And about the durability they say it can strech to 4 ft without tearing or ripping. sounds convincing but its like 50 bucks.

it comes with like 18 snakes and some hooks aswell as some other stuff. but yeah 50 bucks seems like a lot.

$50??? Hell No! (well maybe)...

or go cheap but risky... use the real thing.

Haha, I used to catch those garter snakes all the time as a kid. They emit a very disturbing odour when picked up. :D
