Have you lost some equipment?

This one is for a bass fisherman who has recently passed through Guelph:

I was travelling via bicycle yesterday and found the following items which appear to have been blown out of a truck or boat:

A spinning-bait lure carrier containing 18 spinner-baits

and farther up the road, 20 crankbait lures.

I have conservatively priced these out and it appears to be about $350 worth of equipment.

So, if you can think of a way to identify the carrier and the lures and identify generally where I might have found them (there was no ownership identification in the carrier), I would like to try to return them (I know how I would feel to lose this amount of equipment).

You can contact me at [email protected] . Please, only serious and honest msgs.

Regards

Well, not so sure about that, but:

I cycled back to the spot I found the original items this afternoon and did a small search of the ditch (not just the border of the shoulder) and found the remains of the box that the crankbaits came out of, along with 16 more lures. (that pretty well verifies that these "flew" out of a boat or truck) So ... whoever you are, this is a pretty substantial loss. Hope you're single and don't have to explain the loss to your significant other.

So I hope someone can give me enough information that I can be confident that they truly did lose these items, either that or they have made a significant donation to my nephew's tackle (I am a fly fisherman ... I tie my own flies and wrap my own rods ... if I bass fish I usually use streamer flies and deer hair bodies).

Cheers all.
