After reading about this lure on this very forum I went out and purchased one of these bad boys and I have to tell you these babies work great they are weedless and also catch fish. I caught a nice 3lbs bass using the frog colored lure as per the image below.

Next up is the Northland Jaw Breaker will purchase some of these boys for my 2 week trip up north.

I will be getting the red and white one as well as the silver one and fire tiger one

Those are awesome for weeds, can't wait to use them again on a late evening in a weedy area. Apperantly Pike hit these hard as well.

got some of those jaw breakers from Northland will give them a try and let you know how it went

The red and white one has always been a favorite of mine. Except for mine have all been spoons in that pattern. Great for pike.

Ill have to pick up a few of those weedless ones. Good find!

I have confirmed that the frog pattern Moss boss does indeed work I have tried it and caught a LM Bass on it the bass was about 2.5LBS and he inhaled the spoon in relatively shallow water I have seen the action.

are you using constant retrival, or letting it fall and picking it up??

the time I caught the Bass I did retrieve and pause and let the bait fall the Bass hit the bait while it was falling to the bottom.

As far as action goes the Jawbreakers have a very nice wobble you basically hold your rod tip up and retrieve them at a constant pace and they wobble nicely but you can also let them drop from time to time

I have the green jaw breaker still haven't caught anything on it yet, althought it does look enticing for pike.

I went fishing last past weekend on Saturday and caught a pike using the fire tiger jaw breaker and lost the red and white jaw breaker on another fish I suspect that a pike tried to hit the lure and missed it along with the leader and hit my main line and tore it.

I mentioned this lure some time ago but here is atip I have for using this lure to it's max.

Cast ONTO SHORE yes ONTO shore just on the tip on land. It wont get caught and just drag it off land and skip into the water slowly letting it wabble side to side right slow.

You'd be surprised just how many BASS smoke things soon as they hit the water close to land. It could be they are tucked in the weeds facing the shore watching for roaming bait fish or a Moss Boss when they are that close?

This lure works best run right off shore between the shore and the first weed line KABOOM!

thanks for the tip YAWN I will have to try this technique some time, these are both great lures especially the jawbreaker I think it is even more weedless than the Moss Boss
