Hello from a Newbie

I stumbled across this forum when I was looking for info and Niagara River steelhead. Looks like a great site! I recognize a few names.

I'm just getting back into fishing now that I have kids. They join me on most of my adventures so we mainly targer panfish. I'm an expert at them now! LOL!

I'm looking forward to reading through some of the posts here.

Yell you what...panfish (perch, crappie, bluegills) are great eating too if they are big enough to make filleting them worthwhile! If panfish were 1.5 pounds average i'd fish for them more than anything else.
