Hi everyone. I'm a novice fisherman and I am here to learn all I can. I just started fishing this year. My passion has been hiking for awhile around rivers and lakes. Figured it's time to learn how to catch some of those fish I see all the time! Looking forward to contributing here and making new friends. Thanks!

Your hiking skills will help a lot If your fishing the rivers or shores. Remember when there's sunfish, there's more likely a Bass around. Be patient, take notes If you can after your fishing trip. Lots of trial and errors, use braided line 10Lbs. smooth casting.

Hi Mistreated.Although not prevented about naming places by the forum, I will not name places on the open forum.
If you are in Caledon you are near a gold or should I say a Trout mine.
I grew up near there.
