As a beginner of fishing. I am wondering if there is any material or book which introduce fishing in Ontario. Like what kind of fish we have here, what tool to use etc.

I read this book at my local library while watching my kids this Summer. It has lots of useful info and lots of helpful pictures and diagrams to help explain different techniques and types of fishing.

Welcome to OFF, Bruno. I'm a newbie here, too.

Pls head to the nearest Canadian Tire and help yourself to a free copy of the 2015 or 2016 Fishing Ontario regulations guide/magazine put out by Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources (there should be a stack of them at the returns/customer service counter). It outlines general fishing regs in the province, tells you when you are allowed to catch/keep the various types of fish in each zone, and, near the back, is a two page Lucky Strike ad that lists various gamefish and the type of lures to use to catch them. Good fishing.
