Hello,
My name is Jay and I reside in a small suburb of Ottawa (Manotick). I'm fairly new to fishing (5 years) but can honestly say that I'm addicted. I have a 10 foot fishing kayak and prefer non-motorized lakes that offer great Bass Fishing. I was recently fishing at Silent Lake, ON (few weeks ago) and landed a nice 17" 4.5lb Largemouth that I cooked over an open fire. Talk about pure bliss! Unfortunately, Silent Lake is a three hour trip from Ottawa so I can't get there as often as I'd like.
Anyone with recommendations for good (Bass) spots near or around the Smith Falls/Perth/Murphy's Point area, please let me know.
