Hello from Richmond Hill

Hello all,

My name is Robert and I live in Richmond Hill. I have been fishing on and off over the years without much luck. I don't have a boat and normally fish the Natawasaga...again without much luck. With the gas prices rising I'm thinking of hitting the Toronto Island for some local bass and pike fishing this spring/summer. I will keep you all posted on a day I'm planning on heading up if anyone cared to join me.

Hey guys,
I have been wanting to try the toronto island too but was hesitant, as I was not sure taking rods and tackle to the subway would be a good idea. or returning home with a stink of fish over you! What is your experince with this?

I have a couple of friends that love fishing T.O island for pike. I only seen pics of his ten pounder just recently too. I have to go check it out this summer.

From my understanding there are 3 different points where the fairies will bring you in, would you say the main entrance is the best? Once on the island would you work the shorelines? are there any "hot" spots that you can recommend? I will be reviewing the MNR website to make sure there are no restrictions.
