Hey everyone! Name is Martin and I'm a student at U of T. Just recently became super interested in fishing and have been loving it so far. Its tough not having a car but luckily Toronto has a few spots that I can get to by TTC so I'm still having a blast. Fished the islands yesterday evening and caught a couple small pike! Any recommendations other than the islands? Thanks everyone!

hey, im close by in DT. maybe we could fish together sometimes. i just moved here myself.
kinda hard to find fellow fisher people for company.

I'd definitely be up for it. Im heading to Europe this Friday, wont be back til mid august though. I'll be getting my fill for sure as soon as I get back

I've been super interested in Bass and love learning about it so that for now. I'm definitely interested in hitting the salmon and trout this year in Toronto though, really excited for that! Don't have much of a set up really, my trusty Ugly Stik and currently have a Mitchel 300xe reel and am looking to get a new one. What about you?

I fish for anything except for salmon and steelhead... I have multiple setups but my go to is a veritas and pfluger president combo. :D

I love your enthusiasm. a lot more spots for you if you head east along lake O. Leslie Spit for one is a pretty good spot for a lot of different specie...but the hike! August you will have great blast with pike fishing as cooler temps approach. pike love cool temps.
