Hey everyone, I am new to Toronto coming from Welland (close to Niagara falls). I am big into bass fishing and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for some shore bass fishing. From doing some research I have read that Toronto islands is a good place to start and also Grenadier Pond. I am planning on trying one of these spots this weekend if I get a chance. Any information would be greatly appreciated and I will try to make a post of my efforts!

I have been to Grenadier Pond. A tip is to fish by Lakeshore (road) instead of the dock in the pond, as it is really crowded and the only thing being caught in that spot are sunfish. I haven't really had any luck in Toronto regarding bass, but you have access to tons of lakes if you're willing to drive for about an hour.

I tried Grenadier pond last night, but only for about a half hour to an hour. I had one bass boil up around a path of Lillie pads but no solid takers. Hopefully this weekend I will have some more time to put in and have a report to show for.
