Hi all,

Apparently this is the place to post to introduce oneself!

I'm from Burlington, been fishing for most of my 30-something years. Recently introduced to fly-fishing, and I have to say it's consumed me :)

As I'm new to that aspect of the sport I don't have too much to contribute just yet, but I look forward to picking your brains. If I ever do catch a fish on the fly worth posting about, I'll be sure to share the info!

Cheers.

Welcome to the site!

We like pics of any fish, big or small, beautiful or ugly. :D

Hey Flint
Welcome to the forum. Great you've taken up the fly. Like Noob says post any fish big small we love them all......lol.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Although I have been fishing for quite a few years, please don't mistake that as being the same as me saying I'm an expert: I'm certainly not :)

In fact, because of my recent switch to "the fly", I feel like a complete n00b. Tomorrow I'm going to visit my local tributary and see if I can drum something up - hopefully it'll be nice and quiet there on a Tuesday morning. I'm told black stoneflys and egg patterns may conjure up some action this time of year... here's to hoping.

Now I will say I'm not an steelhead expert I'm more of a dry fly hunting summer resi trout but stones egg patterns and worm patterns hope you hook in to some fish tomorrow
