So i fished once in my life when i was kid but now as a adult i have the interest in trying it out and getting into it. I know nothing about gear or where to fish so any tips would be awesome thanks. :)

Well heres my chance to tell you everything i can.

Toronto Island is known for having big fish, (if you don't know fish names yet u should learn), Pike, Bowfin, Largemouth Bass.
The Humber river has a few gems too that Im not allowed to say, forum rules.
The local park ponds typically have Largemouth Bass and Pumpkinseed inside them.

You should have a spinning reel for rookie, always go fishing with worms, I always do but it would not hurt to have lures just in case. When doing proper catch and release always try to put the fish back under 60 seconds, failure to do so will result in brain damage. Piers are typically better around nightfall.

If there is a specific question u want to ask just say so.

WELCOME TO OFF!
