New to the forum from Eastern Ontario near Brockville. I tried to post in the forum and nothing is there....said something about being checked by a moderator? Do they do this for every post? Anyway member of many forums but this is my first one on fishing specifically. Fished my whole life mainly bass, crappie, pike and perch.

Hi, I am also new to this forum i live south mississauga with my house backing onto the credit river. I have done alot of fishing in florida and northern ontario but looking to get started fishing locally. current favourite set up Abu Garcia Veritas with a Quantum Catalyst PTiC Spinning Reel. looking forward to talking and getting some tips from local fisherman for someone just looking to start on the credit river ( erindale park)

Do you mean what rod/reels? My newest rig is a Shimano Chronarch with a St. Croix 7ft MH Legend series, but I have many combos mostly Curados with M to MH shimano rods. A few spinning combos L to M action rods with Pleuger Trion and Abu Garcia not sure what model....and of course a 9 1/2 ft Crappie rod with shimano spinning reel again not sure what model. All my baitcasters get Power Pro and usually fluoro lines for my spinning gear.

Thanks. Yeah been fishing all my life and I spend a lot of time on the water and accumulated a lot of gear.
