highway 97 (cedar creek road)

i was at bloomingdale the other day and some guy told me not to eat the fish as the ponds are run off and have no intake...
he also told me of a couple of ponds out by cedar creek road that have speckled trout.
anyone know of this place and can verify? i google mapped it with no luck.

Lots of ponds near cedar creek, my guess would be his grandfather told him that he used to catch specks in there when he was a teenager and buddy assumes they are still there.
