Any way to get around all the mucky water or is it just a waiting game until the water clears up,I've been waiting a week and the first hundred feet ish is chocolate milk

There is always clear water at the piers I usually fish. One side of the pier (where a creek or river is flowing in) the water will be muddy, and on the other side it is clear. And that muddy water never goes away. Me and my friend fished a pier with big vibrax spinners (mid-summer 2016 mid-day, sunny) and hooked into a big salmon where the muddy water meets the clear water. But then some jerk came cruising in with his boat and snapped the line. He was the only loser cause he had about 50 yards of line and a spinner mangled up in his outboard

My local trib was perfect, a bit on the fast side but some Chrome was caught.

marina I usually cast at is on the south side of the lake and has like 100 feet of stained water no way I could even reach out to the mud line,however would the rivers be affected by this I may make a run up to the credit next weekend? Is there any live cams to see water conditionS? I'm sure there's Lots of steelies and maybe some browns in there still

Has anyone had any luck night time pier fishing this time of year? Have to work everyday so I’m going to try at night.
