How many hooks can you have

While I was fishing at a local river I came across a fellow fisherman that was running a double hook double bead set up. I'm just wondering if that is allowed. Are you allowed to have 2 hooks on one line while river fishing?

Yes ! I believe you can have up to 4.

you can do a tandem rig. I would advise 2 hooks for beginners. it's quite dangerous having 3-4 hooks if you're just starting.
