That's not rain in the picture below.. the radar is picking up the millions of mayflies that had just hatched.

That's crazy, you'd think that would make the fishing great but there is a point I think where the fish have gorged themselves enough or the fish just don't pick out your fly between the other flies.
 
Can you imagine how insane it would be to even cast through that if they were in your area? lol. No chance your fly would get through that wall.

LOL, it would be like doing an over the shoulder cast with a 30km wind coming at your face. I'm sure you've experienced it.
 
Ya, whenever there are massive hatches like that the fishing slows down, as a friend of mine said, it's like trying to find a needle in a pile of needles for the fish!
 
Gotta love the one comment on the article. "This is fly fishing porn".

I don't know, that scares the hell out of me and no chance i'm going to 1) drive through that 2) even attempt to catch a fish when they had their bellies stuffed with enough mayflies to last for generations.

Seeing the animated radar shot is amazing though.
