Huron Trib Steelheads

Hello everyone! My partner and I are heading up to a Huron trib this weekend and I was wondering if anyone has been up there this week and had any luck?

Water level is low right now but I saw a large number of people out last Saturday when passing by.

Some areas of those tribs are closed right now . Make sure you look at regs.

hmm I was up that way a couple weeks ago and it was open

Most Huron tribs are in zone 16, which closes for trout on September 30th. With that said, if you refer to the regulations, you'll notice there are a few of those tribs that have an extended fall season for certain sections of the rivers that runs until Dec. 31. Just remember to double check your exceptions for any potential sanctuary. Good luck and tight lines

most rivers are open from hwy #21 down stream but definitely check the regs.
