My local dollarama just got a whole bunch of neat looking spoons in.

The one I use. Also comes in red, green, and total silver. The one I have is blue. The have little fish scale patterns on them which look really neat:

An odd shaped crankbait I found. Hopefully it works:

New spoons. Comes in blue, gold, silver, green, and bronze:

I havnt used these stick shaped spoons before, and I have pretty high expectations from them lol.

They also got frogs, spinner, spinnerbaits, softbaits, and floats. The spoons work just as well as brand name ones. Most of the cranks work good. Spinners work ok.

The first and last spoons you posted both work excellent, the last ones seem to be new this year, I have done well with them. Out of all of their spinners, I only buy 1 package, but it works well even on steelhead and salmon.

Once you discover these lures, it's hard to go back to the $5 ones.

I have grabbed a bunch a few weeks ago while I was shopping. not the spoons but the cranks and the lunkerhunt jigs. The cranks I say perform poor but the jigs were nice and they were only $3 for a kit.

Ivee had the ones in the last PIC for years, tons of bass on it. Bought some hooks from dollarama-best purchase ever
How do you work them? cast and retrieve like spoon-shaped ones or jig them?

Cranks are a hit-or-miss. Some can work amazingly, and some can not even dive. Most iv bought are pretty good. Out of the 10 or so iv bought, only had 2 bad ones

Just give it a twitch every now and then, just like spoon spoons lol
Ok, so cast and retrieve.

just went outside and pulled the lures through a kiddie pool. Gatta say, the gold spoons look amazing. The blue/silver spoon-spoon was normal, nothing new. The crank was hard to judge.......not enough space to see the action properly. But alteast it dived! Thats a good sign :p

I've bought a few lures from dollar stores. One I had amazing luck with all the time. Was a 2" minnow that had a glittery finish was awesome till I used it in part of the grand and the lip that make it dive broke off and became useless. Now it's on my key chain.

i also have the same experience with the cranks. hit or miss. some i have caught some decent fish on. and a couple i have had don't work properly. they dive a little bit and then shoot right back up to the surface and stay sideways or whatever. like the lip wasn't doing what it's supposed to be doing. that's for both cast and retrieve and trolling.

but overall, it's good value.

just caught a nice fish last week on one of those spoons. however, another one of those spoons i had from dollarama got caught on the lining of my trunk and when i yanked on it, not even that hard, the eye of the hook simply broke.

also agree that it's hard to go back to $5 lures or $10 jerk baits. have lost a couple dozen lures in my life to rocks, branches and pike. it adds up.

I never had any problem with their spoons. All worked perfectly, except for the occasional paint flaking off.
Actually, I never had problem with any of their lures except crankbaits.

I got a couple of 2 7/8" Tornado spoons today along with a 1 3/4" slim spoon. If these catch fish, they are really worth it as they only $1 each. The tornado spoons are not as thick or heavy as Little Cleos so I don't think they would be that great for casting from piers. I'll probably just try them up river.
