I need a guide! Anyone want to fish with me and show me the ropes?

Hey all. I am 20 years old, I live in Oakville between winston churchill and ford drive. Last year and so far a few times this year I have driven and explored for hours but havent even had a nibble. I am looking for someone to fish with! I wont give your spots away, I have all my own equipment, I can drive to meet somewhere, I can pick someone up or vice versa.

I am begging this community - help me out! I want in on the action!

Hey. First off, Im after bass and trout. My gear consists of my grandfather's old rod, the brand I saw on the reel was jupiter. He did a lot of fishing so Im sure he knew what was what. I have lots of spinning lures, some minnow lures, crankbaits, that kind of stuff. I have everything I need to get a slip bobber rig set up.

Anyways Id love to hear your advice and Ill pm you!

Ive thought about getting a new rod but honestly I dont think that is what's, holding me back, it still works fine and I think it's a good idea for me to learn more and get some catches before Im decide to invest in a new one. It's probably around 20 years old honestly lol but I havent had any problems with it.

Can someone maybe recommend what type of setup I should get? My budget would be $100, I might just go find a fishing store and ask for their recommendation.

You can get a nice fenwick setup with a decent reel for around 100 plus line..
