Ice death on penetang bay

FATAL ICE ACCIDENT

A 19 year old man has died after going through the ice in Penetanguishene Bay early this morning. He was reported missing after he failed to meet up with friends at 2am. Personal items were noticed beside a hole in the ice by the OPP helicopter. His body has been recovered, and the coroner is on scene now. We will have more on this story as details become available.

In the reports I've seen nothing to indicate it was fishing related. 2 am?

Possible but doubtful. A bunch of young guys meeting up at that time to fish.
Went missing at 2 am but reported at 7 am?????
