I hear you. I do home renos. The last job I did was near Bolton, the upper Humber ran through this guys backyard. Although I know there are Trout there, I asked if he ever caught anything. He told me he didn't fish. I asked if I can come back the 4th Sat. in Apr. I got the green light.
The job we are at now is within a stones throw of a small creek that runs into the upper Grand near Elora. Haven't fished it before but I am sure it must hold a Trout or 5.
Not sure what the company I am working for is doing, maybe they just want to get these jobs out of the way before opener so the temptation isn't there for me. Good luck with that, I also have a green light to fish the stream near Elora too :lol: The only problem I have now is choosing which one to go to.
