Ice fishing

Hello fellow hard water lovers
I am going on fact finding mission this week.
Last year I trekked up to sparrow lake and lake couch only to learn I was in the wrong place for both.
I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction this year.
Where Are the access points to these lakes or where is a good area to start out from.
Any advice is appreciated.

For Couch you can park at the boat launch on Centennial Drive on the south west shore.
