hi im new to the area moved to waterloo from montreal looking for places to ice fish. ive been going to little lake in cambridge waiting for the grand river conservation lakes to be ready wondering if anyone knows of other ponds that are ready? also if anyone is looking for a fishing buddy would be happy to join ya since i dont know anyone thats also into fshing in the area thanks

I was on lake simcoe, cooks bay yesterday out of gilford road. 7” of ice 1km out. Fishing was pretty steady.

Cool I wanna head up that way at some point this winter, it's like a 2 hour drive though that's what keeping me from doing

I believe your closest ice is like Trenton way or Lake Simcoe way.
