Ice on rice?

Does anyone know how the ice is on Rice lake? (Gores landing area) I am itching to get out.

I was hoping to drive up today to check it out but not in this weather at least here in Cobourg. It's nasty out there

I am in Baltimore so I am enjoying this snow too. Even with a Subaru and snow tires I can wait to check it out. I know there was thin ice before the rain, if it froze before the snow should be ok

Ant updates? Want to fish Sunday morning and maybe Monday too. Missed opening day because of no ice and I got an itchy trigger finger for anything
