Iced Out Carp

Finally ice is gone on a pond close to my place. This will be my first time to target Carp after the thaw. I just want to know if this is a great time. The pond is known to have good Carp population. Had fun with them last summer but I just can't wait.

The water is still cold so they will be sluggish. Try to fish the north side of the pond. It will get the best sun and should warm up first.
