Reporting in after a nice day of fishing at an undisclosed location (though you can prob guess from the bridge in the pic's background....).
Started our rainy day at 11am with nibbles and bites/pulls here and there using roe bags.
Then switched to using a bronze/orange Cleo and them BAM ---> and snapped. lost my 5 bucks... the later hammered blue/silver cleo didn't produce
Switched back to using roes of various colors and curing methods; rotating between 1)Brown sugar glazed 2)Pautzke fire-cure and 3) Natural roes.
After losing another few fish from my damaged leader there was a strong 2 tugs... FISH ON i shouted... then the whole Tug-o-war, Anxiety, and Focusing begins. Very fun stuff indeed !!
p.s- for the record, I was using a mixture of Natural roes & Pautzke Hot Red on my hook... for once, being greedy and using 2 roe bags together paid off.
