Last weekend i noticed my line kept getting stuck a bit on the bottom guide and brought it closer to inspect and found the issue below in the pic. So i emailed shakespeare customer service with the details they ask for (picture of the issue; receipt; contact info; address) and they say they'll get a hold of you.
I sent my email on the 17th and didn't hear anything back until today.
I got an email thanking me for the excellent documentation of the issue, and a replacement rod is already on its way. Pretty friggin painless process so thought i'd share that with you all!
Now to see if i can figure out how to replace the guide, and then I'd have two rods! I thought they'd ask for this one back or something, but nope.. just "here's a new rod!"
