Been hitting the bass as hard as I can since opener and a couple times before across the border. But not as much as I'd like to since I have moved and am still settling in the new house.

Finally getting around to dealing with the pics. Hope you like these green and bronze basstards.

I haven't seen many pics of bass on here so far so please feel free to upload your own. I can't get enough of them.

those smallies are looking good!

the first two i caught this year were while trolling. well the last two from this week i was casting a wacky rig and darn did they fight! had a hell of a time landing the bigger one in the net.

Caught this northern Smallie this past wknd while fishing with some buddies. Decided to weight this one and it was 3.2lb, my personal best. Caught it on an original rapala in orange trolling in the shallows around late afternoon.

i thought i was all bassed out after these past 3 days but your catches are getting me back into the spirit.

lost a bass and a pike before i finally landed this just before leaving after 5.5 hours on the water. and it was basically right in front of the launch. i could have casted to this spot from shore. makes me wonder why i even bothered bringing my boat.

rhymo... or anyone really... you see that white rap in your last pic on your first pic July 27th and your last pic August 3rd... anyone know where to get a red and black pattern of that lure?

I just lost one last weekend and cant find the shape with that pattern any more... anyone know anywhere that has lots of old models in stock?

maybe I can find a pic with it as an example...

do you mean the lipless crankbait? cotton cordell or something like that is the one i use. bought it from sail in oshawa in the clearance bin for 2.99 on way to buckhorn. even though i was mainly using senkos that weekend, i casted that from time to time and had 9 fish on and landed 7.

used it the following week on a small lake 4 different days and had strikes on it many many times while casting and trolling. probably at least 12 fish on. not just that one, but on the two other ones i bought in different colours from the burlington store just a couple days before.

they have different colours and different sizes. that size in the pic is the biggest. love the action on it.

and this is the red one i got with black on it:

I'm a big fan of lipless crankbaits. Especially countdowns. Live Target lipless golden shad was the most productive lure for me on my walleye trip earlier this summer.

Im using my Rip n Raps more and more and they are catching well for me. One of my favorite baits to cast ATM
