I hope they turn out ok... The fish were caught on spoons between 30-40 ft of water...

Nice job! When you are using a down rigger, do you use a normal fishing rod? Just curious..

Thanks... FishingNoob, JazzyJessome, FishChris, Dozer & Dugger... Yeah I was using a medium action bait casting rod/reel spooled w/200yrds 8lb test...I've seen 20lb lakers caught on this lake but they average 2-4lbs...
I 'd opt for something much bigger like a heavy action bait caster Salmon Slammer packed w/ 300yrds + 20lb for lakers on Lake Nipigon where they seem to average 20lbs and can get a whole lot bigger!
